This is a super easy Step-by-Step guide and model set for making your own custom QR Codes using only a single color of filament. While you can still use a different color at the last 2-3 layers if your printer supports that, it is completely optional.
The two examples in the photo were printed only in white PLA filament. You can use any color you like. The raised surface of QR Code and logo is easily painted black using cheap acrylic craft paint and a sponge paint brush (even the sponge paint brush is optional, as I used my finger to paint the first one.) You don't have to print yours in white, you can use any color you want as long as you paint the QR Code a color that has good contrast (Like red PLA with white paint, or light purple PLA with dark blue paint, etc.) Just remember when you are painting you want to dab or blot the paint on lightly... this is not paint the fence Danielsan! Don't drag the brush across the code. If you don't count drying time, it takes maybe 10-15 minutes at most to paint two coats. Print Settings
