A Custom Backplate for Every Smart Thermostat Install

When an old rectangular thermostat is swapped for a small round smart one, the wall is left with a paint outline and old screw holes.

This backplate covers that footprint. It has a wire pass-through and a gap under the thermostat so it still senses room air, and you can add a relief pattern to suit the room.

Tip: measure the old thermostat's outline before you pull it off the wall. That sets the plate size.
