Stop Zip-Tying Float Switches

Saucer pipe clamp on a PVC drain line with a pan float switch on each side tab

Float switches get zip-tied wherever they'll stay put. Then they shift, and a switch that has moved may not trip.

This clamp gives the switch a proper home. Two halves close around a 3/4" PVC drain line with four #6-32 screws, and there's a tab on each side. Your existing pan float switch clamps onto a tab and hangs straight down into the pan. It holds one switch or two, and the switch itself isn't modified.

Tip: check the switch's clamp range before you choose a spot. The tab is sized to fit inside it.

Design sample. Switches shown are generic. We size the clamp to your pipe and your switch.
